IPS can deliver feasibility studies for major mining and infrastructure projects in the pre-planning phase to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the proposed project as well as its financial viability.   Rather than focus on purely technical issues surrounding project feasibility, an IPS study will take a holistic approach that captures all of the commercial, technical and social issues surrounding the proposed project.  The focus of these studies examines whether the capital outlay will be justified by returns for the client, and can also cover environmental, regulatory and schedule risks that may affect the expected outcome.

IPS is able to leverage their expertise in mining and infrastructure construction to critically evaluate the feasibility of a project beyond a client's initial proposals to determine if it is viable in the long term. By identifying and mitigating project risks early in the process, an IPS feasibility study will enhance the chance of success and minimize the risk of cost blowout.  Our capability in feasibility studies ranges from preliminary investigations right through to detailed bankable documents, master plans and project engineering conceptual studies.
