Imgp0788 Alcoa WorkshopAlcoa engaged IPS to provide project services for the construction of heavy vehicle workshop facilities to service Alcoa's new McCoy Mine east of Pinjarra, Western Australia. The McCoy Mine is part of the largest bauxite mine in the world and feeds Alcoa's Pinjarra and Kwinana refineries. IPS was responsible for the engineering design management, project management, procurement and construction management (EPCM) of the workshops facility.

 The development included a ten bay Heavy Vehicle Workshop (trucks up to 190 tonne), Heavy Vehicle Tyre Bay, Boilermaker Shop, Light Vehicle Workshop, Office, Stores and amenities, fuel bay and wash down bay. The project was located within a water catchment area which required the adherence to exacting environmental requirements.
