-Greenland Niobium Mine and Processing Plant-1IPS was engaged by New Millenium Resources N.L. to assist with planning and funding studies for their Niobium project located in Greenland. We undertook a Stage I Feasibility Study incorporating a review of all project elements.


 This included:-

  • project status and overview,
  • geology and ore reserves (measured and inferred resource),
  • mining philosophy and preliminary mine plan,
  • preliminary process configuration and options,
  • infrastructure and logistics requirements, project construction/site erection options (eg. modularisation),
  • marketing issues, environmental impact statement,
  • capital and operating cost estimates,
  • status of approvals processes and agreements,
  • development and management plan, use of funds strategy,
  • critical project risks and the development of a preliminary financial model and sensitivity analysis.

In addition, IPS was engaged for planning the scope and funding requirements for a Bankable Feasibility Study and the requirements for a future AIM (London) listing and the planning, scope definitions and costings for the site (Northern) summer 2001 drilling and geology programme.
